Learn how to permanently delete your InvoiceAI account
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your InvoiceAI account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- All Invoices and Estimates - Including drafts, sent, and paid documents
- All Clients and Products - Your complete client database and product catalog
- Business Profile - Company information, logo, and branding
- All Settings and Preferences - Invoice numbering, templates, and customizations
- Payment Records - All payment tracking and history
- AI Conversation History - If you used the AI Assistant feature
- Analytics Data - Revenue reports and business insights
- Account Information - Email, display name, and authentication data
How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: Delete From Within the App (Recommended)
Open Account Settings
Launch the InvoiceAI app on your Android device and navigate to Settings → Account Settings
Find Delete Account Button
Scroll down to the "Account Actions" section. You'll see a red "Delete Account" button at the bottom.
Confirm Deletion
A warning dialog will appear listing all the data that will be deleted. Read it carefully, then tap "Delete Permanently" to confirm.
Account Deleted
Your account and all associated data are immediately deleted. You'll be signed out and returned to the login screen.
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to delete your account via email:
Send Deletion Request
Send an email to support@elfarabey.com with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include Your Information
In your email, please include:
- The email address associated with your InvoiceAI account
- Confirmation that you want to permanently delete all data
Wait for Confirmation
We will verify your identity and delete your account within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
How long does deletion take?
If you delete from within the app, your data is deleted immediately. If you request deletion via email, it may take up to 30 days for us to process your request.
Will my data remain in backups?
Your data may persist in our backup systems for up to 30 days after deletion, after which it is permanently removed from all systems.
What happens to my invoices that I sent to clients?
PDF invoices that you've already emailed or shared with clients will remain with them. We cannot delete files that have left our system. However, all data stored in InvoiceAI will be deleted.
Can I create a new account with the same email?
Yes. After your account is deleted, you can create a new account using the same email address. However, none of your previous data will be restored.
What if I'm signed in with Google?
Deleting your InvoiceAI account does not delete your Google account. It only removes your InvoiceAI data and unlinks the connection to Google Sign-In.
What about guest/anonymous accounts?
Guest accounts can also be deleted using the same steps. All locally stored data will be removed when you delete the app or clear app data.
Alternative: Sign Out Instead
To sign out without deleting:
- Open Settings → Account Settings
- Tap "Sign Out" (above the Delete Account button)
- Confirm sign out
Your data will remain safely stored in the cloud, and you can sign back in anytime.
